FOOD INNOVATION RI, one of the 28 national Research Infrastructures in Greece, has been invited to participate in the “Research Infrastructures at the service of a knowledge-based Society and Economy” forum which is organized by the Hellenic GSRT and the Special Managing Authority for the Operational Program: Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The forum will be held at the National Hellenic Research Foundation on February 25, at 10:00-17:00.
FOOD INNOVATION RI launched its 3 year-preparatory phase in November 2018 with the aim of constituting one of the national links of Education, Research and Innovation for the Agri-food sector, bringing together researchers, academics and industries. It is co-financed by the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program: Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (project: MIS 5027222).
The coordinating team, led by Prof. M Kanellaki from the University of Patras, will present the objectives of FOOD INNOVATION RI at the round table discussions in the Seminar Room at 14:30 and will be happy to explain how FOOD INNOVATION RI can affect the Food Industry, Researchers and the Society as a whole.
